Opaque black - brown beer. Little tan head. Crispy dry palate. Minerals. Fresh dark malt, quite light. Hops are mildy citrus. A little pine and a trace of minerals. Dry finish. Nice enough but a bit dry!

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy beige head. Only subdued citrusy hops in the nose, the heavy roast dominates. Light body only with a very dry roastiness and a malt bitter finish. Easy going, but I would’ve loved a little more hop character throughout, I find the roast a little too dominant. 120512
