A real-ale drinker's nirvana, this traditional IPA has a substantial malty base with a big hop profile, taking its cue from the traditional Burton world-beater and also from the hoppy US craft beers, triple hopped using a unique blend of four different hop profiles. Combination of Nugget, Syrian Goldings, Cascade and Goldings.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Clearish gold with a white foam head. Caramel malts in the nose with some dough. Sweet flavor, more dough, some earthy hops, bit more straight sugar. Medium bodied with soft to fine carbonation. Some sugars, doughy malts, faint citrus hops to finish. Just alright.

Cask@Newark Winter Beer Festival 2010. Vibrant thicking looking amber beer. The aroma is vinously hopped, and the flavour is rich and bitter, and quite well hopped with an element of sweetness. Overall a nice hopped beer.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Hazy amber. Haze no condition. Astringent hop aroma, bit farty. Flavour is what? Some harsh hop on finish. Body has some toffee syrup. Not much to say, doesnโ€™t drink its strength. Hop on end is ok if harsh and rasping.
