This is an amber- tinted beer at just over 6 percent by volume. We have composed together a character full composition of malt which can carry hefty doses of hops in brewing . From the beginning , we started from the British tradition around that bridge india pale ale , but we have done that the American micro- brewers so often do, that we hooked to it all a few degrees. Thus, we call ölstilen for Indie, a touch of India but also of independent and liberal , as in the English indie . India pale ale was brewed from the beginning of the British imperietrupperna . In the mid 1800s , it was not so good to brew good beer in India, so it exported pale ale from England to quench the thirst of the troops . For the beer would make the long journey brewed it a little stronger and visitors beer. No hops are boiled for more than 40 minutes to preserve the aroma and flavor of hops in beer. The last humlegivan in a so -called hop back , a sieve of hops in the wort passes just before it cools , so just hop aromas are dissolved into the wort.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian (from a trade with Cunningham). Pours deep amber with an off-white. Quite malty aroma with notes of berries, wood and herbs. Hints of roasty notes too. Medium sweet and malty with a bitter finish. A bit strange, but quite drinkable.

Bottle bought at Systembolaget, e-order. Almost clear light amber with a huge, creamy white head. Not that much hops in this one. Toffee, a touch of something sour, malt and grape. The finish was quite bitter. Drinkable but nothing special.
