Bomber bought @ Ølbutikken. Pours dark brown with a huge frothy and fizzy brownish white head that slowly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and spicy with rye flour, black pepper, dry wood, baking soda, lemon zest, cocoa powder, caraway, baking yeast and very subtle hints of banana bread. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with dark rye bread, cocoa powder, biscuits, peppermints, black pepper, liquorice root, caraway, wood, burnt brazil nuts and hints of lemon zest. Mouthfeel is fizzy, very smooth, slightly dry and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with rye bread, cocoa powder, dry wood, black pepper, plums, biscuits and hints of cookie dough.

Bottle courtesynof Ken, thank you sir! Black color, brown head. Aroma of roasted coffe and chocolate. Taste is similar. Hi carbonation interferes with the flavor somewhat. Still pretty tasty.

Bomber from Charleston Beer Exchange. HUGE burst of carbonation as the bottle was opened but it didn’t gush. Pours a very dark brown, nearly black, with a large frothy tan head. Average head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, floral notes, faint toastiness and rye. The taste is chocolate and roasted malts, rye, nutty notes and a mildly hoppy finish. Thin-medium bodied, very dry and VERY highly carbonated. I think this would be much better without so much carbonation.
