Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Nose of mild vanilla oak and orangey dessert wine. Mild malt cream and vanilla oak. Light red berry fruits with minerally sweet orangey dessert wine. Creamy fruit with subtle peach and mango. Another belter from Westbrook!

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a good amount of wine notes with a good amount of sweet grains and a hint of booze. Flavor starts with sweet grains with a strong dry earthy wine note with a bit of dark earthy fruit.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, plum, red wine, wood, oak, light to moderate yeasty, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sharp, wood - oak, grape, wine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120718]
