Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival 6th and 7th Feb 2009 Pours light amber a white head, aroma is very fruity. Flavour is earthy hops quite full bodied and with good sweet fruitiness, some caramel, most enjoyable. A beer that seemed to go down very well and one of the first to run out, its a simple and quite traditional tasting bitter A6 A4 F7 P4 OV14 3.5

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 19/5/08. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of fruity malt with some caramel and earthy hops. Flavour was sweetish, with more caramel and a short, bitter finish. A good west country bitter.
