Huge beige head keeps rising, eventually growing a foam hat out of the glass. Clear amber body with strong carbonation. Earthy dusty burnt caramel aroma with milky peas notes. Dry-sweet roasty wooden earthy taste with notes of burnt peas. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry earthy licorice and burnt caramel aftertaste with wooden milky notes. Unusual, vivid and clear, and highly drinkable, with lots of flavour.

Mild eftersmak.

On tap at Bryggerifestival at Malmö Brygghus, April 2012. Dark copper with a small head. Aroma of caramel, bread, some fruit and notes of roasted malt. About the same in the taste. Drinkable stuff.

On tap. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Fairly discreet aroma, a little roast perhaps. Medium body, notes of nuts and roast with a discreet bitterness. Clean but plain. 200412

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on November 26. Pours deep copper with a thick grayish brown head that slowly dissipates leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is malty sweet with some resin and bread. Taste is malty sweet and slightly bitter with resin, bread and some pine. Finish is dry and slightly bitter with some chocolate. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ebbot Ale on 07 Sep 2015 at 21:17 - Score: 6. Draft. A dark amber beer with a fluffy off-white head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, dusty hops, butterscotch, and carmel, leading to a bitter finish.

50cl bottle, courtesy of and shared with Gnoff.

Cask at The Green Lion Inn, Malmö
Dark amber color, no head, basically flat. It has a nice aroma, biscuity, with malt, light vegetables, some yeast. Soft mouthfeel, it has a round body, and caramel flavor, rather salty; good bitterness level, with a nutty final.
Good.
