Crowler from the brewery - clear amber - lively carbonation but no real head - toasty and spicy up front, but tainted throughout with subtle green apple acetaldehyde, which is a real disappointment from this brewer.

On tap at the Lagerhaus, shared with Aaron and Leighton. Pours a clear, brown color, with a big, beige head. Butter toffee, earthy hops, chai spice, and rye. Sweet and malty, with a lovely, mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sharp, creamy mouthfeel. This is a pretty solid, simple, and well done amber lager.

Keg at the brewery. Pours clear copper-gold with a fairly tight, creamy head. Toasted cereal in the aroma, a little dried caramel. Medium sweet flavour, more toasty malts, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, yet more toasted bread and toffe. Nice for the style.
