First beer in Austin! Science says it's a pre prohibition pale lager so I thought it was going to be all malt. But it's adjunct. Not bad for an adjunct. Full bodied. Bittersweet.

On tap at the brewery pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is nice light grain some grass hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet light grain notes and some hops.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and grain with a light bread note underlying. Flavor has lots of straw as well with touches of hay and bread supporting
