KORÇA E ZEZË është një birrë unike për të gjithë Shqipërinë dhe më tej në rajon. Është një tjetër birrë, varietet krejt ndryshe, që nuk ngjason fare me dy llojet e tjera të birrave, për sa i takon shijes dhe aromave. Për prodhimin e kësaj birre përdoren 4 lloje malto, të cilët i japin dhe shijen e veçantë, ku mbi të gjitha dallohet shija e lehtë e karamelizimit. Ndërkohë edhe ngjyra e birrës është plotësisht e errët (e zezë), gjë që e dallon dukshëm nga birrat e tjera. Kjo birrë është më viskoze dhe me një buket tepër specifik dhe mjaft të admirueshëm. BIRRA 01 është një formulë tjetër birre, e cila është më e lehtë se birra bionde, falë ndërhyrjeve cilësore në recepturën e prodhimit.

Bottle at the Rogner hotel, Tirana. Pours a deep red/brown colour with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and bread dough. Some roasting. Fairly sweet, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, sweet to finish. Better than average for area.

Interesting ... dark pils. Clear dark nut brown color, small brown head. Sweet worty industrial kalja-kali-kvass aroma; rye bread and sugars. Medium-bodied. Wort, sugars, rye bread, syrup. Funny how this also tastes like Estonian kali or Finnish kalja.

Bottle from a restaurant in Durres. Poured a dark chestnut brown with a big frothy off-white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a weak bitter, nutty flavour with a watery palate. Not the worst beer from Albania.

Bottle, 4.5%. Good malty aroma, roasted and bready, slightly vinous. Clear dark brown colour, perhaps chestnut. The flavour is citric at first, turning vinous and creamy. Does not taste entirely fresh, but it is not bad because of it. Late grainy finish.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with small light tan head. Clear aroma of malt with caramel notes. Bittersweet, malty, slightly roasty flavour. Rather thin but otherwise not disagreeable.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramle, toffee, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, roasted - burnt caramel, burnt sugar bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120529]
