2012 version, 4,5% ABV - Pours dark orange with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, malts and earthy notes. Taste is slightly malty with mild citrus notes, fruity and grassy hoppiness. Finish is slightly malty and bitter with some hints of fruitness. Okay, quite tasty session APA.

Medium white head. Light amber body with carbonation. Powerful resiny fruity aroma with floral citric notes and some dusty malts. Sharp dry-sweet floral dusty hops taste with an acidic vinegary aftertaste. Acid is mild, but definitely there. Probably a good beer without this. (0.25l draft at Olutkellari, Helsinki. Bartender admits to vinegary flavour, but says all their 10 casks have had it. Offered to give me another beer for free. Have to rerate this to see if I can find it without vinegar.)

Draught @ Oluthuone Kaisla, Helsinki, Finland. Thick looking brown beer with a light head. The aroma is sour and the flavour is very dry, well hopped, slightly vinous and sour. Overall a reasonable full bodied dry beer.

It’s one of the last kegs around, after the brewery has closed, and the impact of time on this Ale is not very positive; the aroma became lightly sour; the body is still well structured, sweet, but most of the bitterness is gone, you can feel it only at the end, and so the hop qualities; in the final there is also a very light metallic trace. It’s no more outstanding.

Hazy amber color. The Amarillo hop creates a nice fruity aroma, delicate. Good taste, malty, medium body strength, high bitterness, fruity and aromatic. Maybe the bitterness is too much in the very end. But it’s very good.

Hazy amber color. The Amarillo hop creates a nice fruity aroma, delicate. Good taste, malty, medium body strength, high bitterness, fruity and aromatic. Maybe the bitterness is too much in the very end. But it’s very good.

(On tap 25 cl) Light amber, a bit hazy, small head that sticks to the glass. But ladies and gentlemen: it’s the hops. The HOPS!!! Incredibly nice and very, very fresh hop-aroma (wonder which - not Amarillo again, aye?). This brewery seems to have gone absolutely berserk with IPA’s and Pale Ales. Keep it up. 160405

Tapped. Hazy golden colour with white thick head. Sweet malty and yeasty aroma with hints of fruits. Very fresh aroma in every way. Smooth flavour of fruit at first, but turs into very bitter in the finish. Very dry finish. Otherwise good, but I didn’t like the aftertaste (strange bitter fruitish one).
