Draught @ [ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2012 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate notes, light smoke and meat. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, light smokey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120512]

100ml poured from a bottle at the brewery’s exhibition stand at Ølfestival 2012. Dark-brown coloured body. Patchy surface. Modest smell of smoked malts added by a nice mid-sweet touch. Tasted good with a blended flavour of caramel malts and dried chocolate fruits, smoked backdrops. Bit of brown sugar, as well. Rounded malt-bitter end. Likable (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2012. Pours ruby amber with a small creamy head. Campfire, meat, caramel and fruit. Medium bodied. Ok

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Toasted malty and roasted. Bitter and dry malty. Bitter and dry toasted malty. Bitter and dry herbal into the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a warm reddish amber with no head. Sweet roast with dark dried fruit. Medium body, sweet licoricey roast with a subtle whiff of smoked. Carbonation is a little excessive. Subdued bitterness. 110512

Bottle, 6.2%. Lactose aroma, smells quite nice, but not very smokey. Almost clear brown colour. Very small head. Caramelly flavour, mild coffee, not very bitter. Also tastes of lactose even though it does not seem to contain any. Good.
