Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but abundant and stable tan head. Intense roasty aroma with notes of hops. Bitter flavour of the same, enriched by notes of malt and cofee beans. Medium to thick body. Good mouthfeel. Smoky aftertaste. A really nice smoked beer, well-balanced, though perhaps a little to heavily carbonated.

clear brown, fluffy and fast fizzying away light brown head. aroma is dominated by dry malts, and dark caramel. flavor is caramel, some malts, sort of like a lager, with a lot of caramel. I dont’ really get much smoke out of this one, but there is a little ham like note in there.

Draught at Ølbaren
Dark mahogany color, creamy head. The aroma is very buttery, with some caramel, and light roasted malt. Mild roasted malt flavor with light residual sweetness, and butter; some liquorice in the end; ordinary bitterness.
A mess, quite unpleasant.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Dark, amber colour with a dense, off-white head. Sweet aroma with chocolate, caramel and smoked malts. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with a subdued smoked note. Okay beer, but too sweet for a smoked, lacks bacon. Bacon is an essential part of a healty diet.
