TAP at Labietis. Very sweet caramel with a butterscotch edge. Tastes sweet, caramel and overripe orange with the hops clearly behind. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, but with a bit too much alcohol heat in the finish.

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a smalll head. Pine, grapefruit, apricot and toffee in the aroma. Hopppy, fruity, tangy and slightly earthy taste with nuts, grapefruit, raisins, dried apricot and pine. Nice but am keen to try a fresher version of this (this one is 6 months old) as I think it could be even better.

Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of booze, caramel, toffee, syrup and hops. Taste is sweetish, malty a caramely with loads of toffee and citrus. Finish is boozy and sweetish with some caramel and syrup. Unfortunately a bit unbalanced.

Draught @ Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend 2015
Aroma is somewhat mild with biscuits, resin and caramel. Also pineapple juice. Flavour has strong pineapple juice tones, some herbal bitterness, grapefruit and hints of biscuits. Does not reach the top of DIPAs – but one of the best Latvian brews out there.

On tap at Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend. Hazy amber with a large off-white head. Hoppy and very fruity aroma with tropical fruits, pine, light citrus, malt and hints of herbs and caramel. 0,75l sving-topp flaske med passe rest donert av Elisabeth & Stefan. Tusen takk! Drukket på RV124 16 Jan 14. Åpner med et smell. Mørk aprikosfarget. Uklar. Lavt skum som reduseres til film. God aroma av bær. Behagelig smak. Litt mandler & rosiner. Blir fort tørr og litt bitter. Bra fylde. En positiv overraskelse. Veldig uklar i siste kvelling.

Big 750ml swing-top bottle from Riga, kindly shared by Elisabeth and Stefan. Gives a good shot when opened. Cloudy apricot coloured body. Lasting off-white head. Rings of lace down the glass. Orange, apricot and mid-sweet malts on the nose. Ripe fruity taste added by almond and herbal malts. Citrus shells to the finish. Well hopped. Near full bodied. Decent slow sipper, quite heady to drink (session in Tårnrommet, Tromsø 09.01.2014).
