On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Deep dark brown/black with a thin fine tan head. Standard dark malts, moderate roast character. Some traces of chocolate but subtle. Some smoothness in the palate from the oats and a nice dark roast trailer. Under carbed mabe, even for the style but nice flavors over all.

On tap at the brewery pours black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big coffee roast malts some chocolate sweetness and a little chalk. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts rich chocolate and coffee.
