Sample @ the Sour & Bitter event in Copenhagen. Pours slightly hazy dark red with a creamy offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace. Smell is sweet and malty with bread, dill, wood, orange peal and wet soil. Taste is sweet, bitter and tiny sour with wood, dill, bread, orange peal, caramel, pine and resin. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, oily bitter and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter with bread, pine and grass.

Tap at PP Carlsbad. It pours deep amber-brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is pine, resin, leather, fig, raisin, plum, grapefruit and tangerine. The taste is resin, pine, leaf, wood, leather, caramel, dust, fig, currant and raisin, with a bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good balance. Very drinkable for the percentage.

On tap at Carlsbad. Pours with a tan head and an amber body. Aroma of a salad of hops, and citrus all over. Taste is hops, caramel, earth/dirt and grain. Light bubbles, and hides the alcohol really well. Great stuff.
