Cask@ Kings Arms, Bethnal Green E2. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with weak hoppy hints.

Bottle from Bakers and Larners of Holt, Norfolk. Clear, copper colour. Film of white head. Toffee malt. Some orange. Some green leaf. Taste is soft sweet. Light dry. Smooth palate. Finishes with a little bitterness. Lovely nick, this one. Very enjoyable bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 14/8/2013. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Malty bitter, with some bready notes, hedgerow fruits and a touch of leafy hop, before a lingering, bitter finish. Fine.

(cask@Catford Bridge Tavern, London ) Pours dark amber with medium to thin head. Aroma of caramel malts. Medium body and taste is caramel malts. grass/pine bitter finish. Nice.

Cask (handpump) @ Guildford Arms, 1 West Register Street, Edinburgh, Scotland EH2 2AA.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malt bitter, sharp, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120423]

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 10th October 2010. Copper with thin vanishing head. Rich, pungent aroma. thick malt and floral to grassy hop. Bitter end taste and zingy mouthfeel.
