Poured from the tap. Clear orangey gold. Boozy treacle and apple with subtle hint of orange and wood. I find the taste is better than the aroma.

Deep gold body, clear with no foam. Huge clove spice on the nose, sweet eau de vie notes. Flavour is soft apple with mint and clove, warming and smooth. The alcohol is invisible, this is great, totally not a backyard barbeque cider but something to be savoured in a snifter.

Bottle - Boozy and liqueur like an apple whisky. Clear gold. Light sweet boozy notes, sweet Apple and whisky like nots in the finish. Some caramel to soften would have been nice, a little too boozy for me.

375mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber orange -- like syrup. Nose is treacly, with toffee, caramel, brown sugar and sugar apples. Flavour is quite intensely sweet, but not cloying, with notes of apple liqueur, caramel, treacle toffee, sugar and alcohol. Unlike some other reviewers, I find this rather decadent and measured. Very enjoyable. Lovely stuff.

Handbottle 10 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear pale yellow. Interesting aroma, not particularly clean apple, more paint thinner! Light body, lightly sweet apple - although subdued - with a very boozy finish. 200412

Bottled. A golden cider. The aroma has notes of alcohol and apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples, alcohol, and spices - especially vanilla. The alcohol warms in the throat. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Corked bottle from Spinnakers Spirit Merchants, Victoria; 19% ABV
Yellow color, with beautiful legs. Light aroma of Calvados with a touch of anise. Full sweetness, the mouthfeel gains some balance by the strong alcohol presence, although this also gives a boozy note; some flavor of apple juice (no fruity freshness though), candies, cassonade, a hint of anise.
This is more similar to sweet Calvados than cider, but it’s a pleasant liquor.

Heavy body. Golden-amber colour. Aroma of brown sugar, wood. Intense, with lots of booze, wood, and some brown sugar. Sinus cleaning.
