Canned aboard Turkish Airlines. Clear bright golden, rich head. Generic fruity nose. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Not as much foul off-flavours as in near all Turk Tuborg’s beers, more generic fruity lager with slight sallty bitterness. Inoffensive.

330ml can brought back home from Balshova, Turkey by Frau Eva. The noisy pour reveals a bright yellow coloured body. Rapidly disappearing white head. Taste of sweet malts and paper-like fruits. Sweet fruity taste with hints of lemon together with a short bittersweet tail. Soft carbonated. Bland impression. Possible to drink with the food (Tromsø, 10.06.2012).

July 2010: Not overly impressed with this beer, had it a few times (bottled mostly) while on holiday in Turkey, this review is of a can taken in my hotel room overlooking the pool. Very hot day, very cold can, poured into a pint handled glass mug. The gold coloured 50cl can promised 100% Malt, everything else appeared to be in Turkish, so not sure what else was added to the Malt, not even sure you can add anything to 100% of something? Anyway the beer poured a bright golden colour and a good sized head of snow white foam sat on top. The smell was weak, hints of Malts but very little of anything, the taste was also very weak, again with a malt feel more than a flavour. This is a typical lightweight Euro Fizzy Lager and I’d expected more from Tuborg, even if it is brewed in Turkey.
