(330ml bottle from Slijterij Groningen Vismarkt) Pours a lightly murky deep amber with an eggshell head and some lace. Notes of moderately sweet malt with a mix of caramel, bread and spicy rye, citrusy hops, floral, resinous, some fresh pine needle/grass quality, fading to a slightly dry and moderately bitter finish with a solid resin kick and more prominent peppery rye, augmented by citrusy notes. No real hint of alcohol. Medium bodied, rather light carbonation. Decent stuff, it's a little old school and the hop cocktail was a touch anonymous, but the rye adds a little interest itself.

MBottle. Color: Hazy amber, off white yellowish head. Taste: Lots of floral and some citrus hops, mildly sweet malt notes, some hints of caramel and alcohol. Very long lasting floral bitter finish. Pretty dry and spicy mouthfeel. Very nice beer. Creamy. Medium to full body, medium to light carbonation.

(Draught at Cause Beer Loves Food, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2017) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and resin. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, grainy malt, rye bread and a generous citric bitterness. Almost full body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty, with a generous hop presence, possibly a bit one-dimensional. Nice one.
