33cl bottle. Hazy dark orange pour with an off-white head. Notes of unripe tropical fruit, orange zest, malt sugars, caramel, herbal hop bitterness, light (but not unpleasant) medicinal bitterness. Medium body, kind of smooth for an IPA, medium carbonation and a nice hoppy/herbal bitter finish.

0.33 l bottle from ’Dranken VOS’ as ’Jopen Damiate DRIPA’ at 9.0% abv, bottled in August 2016. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, very fruity, slightly herbal-grassy and a bit resiny aroma of orange, mango, tangerine, some lemongrass and hints of pine. Slightly sweetish, already slightly bitter, quite fruity, moderately resiny and a bit herbal-grassy taste of orange, tangerine, mango, some pine and a touch of lemongrass, followed by a rather long, quite dry-bitter, a bit peppery finish. Medium to full body, rather creamy and almost sticky mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, pleasant mouthfeel, finishes just a bit too harshly.
