(11/16/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. 6.2%. Copper-colored. Aroma of malt and caramel. Sweetish flavor with caramel and some toasted notes. Medium-bodied.

on tap-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is musty, light malt-caramel, spice, yeast, light fruit. Taste is musty, light/medium malt-caramel, spice, yeast, light fruit. OK carbonation.

On tap at the philly brewpub. Some volatile alky in the aroma. Clear and slight orange in color. Low to medium carbonation greets the palate. Good representation of a fest beer. Nice fest flavors but has a little more bitterness present than I like in a fest. Lingering medium bitter finish.
