330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head that clings to the glass while slowly dissipating. Smell is sweet, malty and tiny stale with bread, caramel, orange peal, wet grass and hints of butterscotch. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter and tiny metallic with bread, caramel, orange zest, grass, wood and hints of sweet fruits. Mouthfeel is tiny bitter dry, thin to medium bodied with heavy carbonation. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter, tiny sour with bread, lemon zest and grass. A nice surprise with a nice bitterness to it. Very drinkable! --- Beer merged from original tick of Melleruds Utmärkta Pilsner on 26 Oct 2017 at 20:14 - Score: 7. Bottle. Clear golden with a large, white head. Malt and grain, the finish was dry with notes of hay and butter. Also notes of metal. Not that bad, I think that I will drink this one again.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a foamy white head. Corn, grain, malt and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Grainy and slightly metallic taste with notes of corn, lemon and a mild bitterness. I had been impressed with some Spendrups more recent offerings, but this one is pretty bland.
