Stadin Weizen on perinteinen vaalean kuparinen baijerilainen vehnäolut. Tuoksultaan olut on neilikkainen (fenoli) ja jonkin verran hedelmäinen, lähinnä banaanimainen. Maku on pääasiassa neilikkainen ja jonkinverran banaanimainen. Vehnäoluiden tapaan Stadin Weizeniakaan ei ole suodatettu.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden with a slight haze and an off-white head. Citric nose more than banana but the yeast is very dominant. Medium body, again slightly tart, heavy yeast and a surprise visit from some dusty hops. Not really your typical Hefe. 030412

33cl bottle, batch # 408. BBE 01.06.2012. POured hazy golden with an everlasting white head. Aroma is very spicy, clove mostly, also wheat and yeast in aroma. Flavor is wheat, banana and some sour notes. Watery, but otherwise quite interesting.

33 cl bottle (4,5%) @ home. Batch #408, BBE 1.6.2012
Aroma has bun dough with yeast, wheat and hints of banana. Flavour is slightly tart with wheat, some banana and hints of bubblegum. Rather good and rich for this ABV. The bun dough aroma is a bit too strong though.

Pours yellowish orange with a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, yeast and spices. Taste is slightly fruity and malty with some notes of spices and earthy notes. Finish is bready with some spicy notes. Okay, quite well balanced weizen.

Bottled@Pullman’s (batch #345, BB 06/2010)
Slighlty hazy pale amber color, no head. Yeast, light citrus and banana in the nose. Although has some carbonation, feels a bit flat (like the most Stadin’s bottled beers). Some caramel (unfermented sugars?), yeast. Flavor is slightly tart with banana notes. Homebrew feeling.
