Ale with a beautiful yellow colour, characterised by Perilla frutescens, also known as shiso or egoma.
The scent has intriguing aromas ranging from aniseed to lemon balm, conferred in fact by infusion of the aromatic plant.
The sweet taste of malt and the mild bitterness of hops are made harmonious with the balsamic flavour of menthol which cleanses the palate and encourages you to take another sip.

Blond color, just hazy, with small head. Original and interesting aroma; malt, basil, very light anise. Dry mouthfeel; some lean malt flavor; the plant character is a bit more disturbing in the flavor than the aroma, it brings a herbal mix of mint, anise, basil, and a vegetable bitterness in the final.
Although this one is not offensive, I don’t see the purpose of these beers.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light heavy yeasty, candy, spicy, mint - anis. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, mint - anis. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy golden with tiny impurities and a white head. Interesting spicy aroma, but impossible to pinpoint which - a slight licorice touch. Medium body, rich and fruity again with this spicy edge. Ends dry and bitter. Quite interesting really. 310312

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are anise, perilla?, malt, hops and notes of fruits.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and rather spicy - anise. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. I have no idea what Perilla is, but I’m guessing it smells somewhere along the lines of anise. 310312
