Bottle, 14%. The aroma starts off vinous, turning sweet with a distinct honey note. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour is also vinous, starts a lot like white wine but then also turns very sweet. The finish is rather citric, almost biting, and with some alcohol.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. (14% ABV) Pours a yellowish, clear body without head. Heather and flowers in the aroma. Effervescent, thin mouthfeel with flavors of flowers and sugar. Flowery finish. This wasn’t my cup of tea at all, both strange and bad in my opinion. (080301)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Clear, amber golden. Fat aroma of honey and sherry. Very full in body, with sweet, mature sherry-like notes. Very refined and pleasant. 281207

50 cL bottle, thanks to Hildigöltur. Pours clear orange with no head. Solid aroma of honey and slight herbal. Flavour is sweet with a solid raising sweetness and a slight fruity note into a very soft velvet finish. Very smooth and nicely honey sweetend mead.
