TASTING NOTES
Stoutling offers all the character of a classic Irish style dry stout with less alcohol (3.17% ABV) and calories (100 per 12 oz serving). Notes of red velvet sweetness, cocoa nibs, and dark toast transition into a drying finish. Mellow bitterness from hops rather than roasted malt provide the balance to keep this sessionable beer intriguing.

SECRET TECHNIQUES
Based on the Irish style dry stout, Stoutling is not only lower in alcohol. Stoutling uses no sparge brewing which reduces tannins and softens the mouthfeel, avoiding the drying effect of a high level of grain tannins.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: black in the glass with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasted dark malts, sweet grains, earthy hops, dark chocolate and black coffee
Flavor: roasty, sweet and bitter through the prior noted aromas; finishes dry, sweet and roasty
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, light smoothness but a lot of dryness
Overall: I say a very nicely done Irish dry stout worthy of coming back to.
