Kompel bovengronds is a traditional high fermented unfiltered blond beer with refermentation on the bottle. The beer is produced with natural ingredients and different hops give it a taste full of character and a nice aroma.
First brewed at Brouwerij Anders! Between 2015-2019 the beer was brewed at Kasteelbrouwerij De Dool.

Sample @ Zythos’16, courtesy of and shared with the RB Belgian crew. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme fruité, fleuri noble très belge dans le rétro de levure et de grains - style pils cara pâle. Palais est malté, fruité et fleuri rappelant un peu la lavande, fin citronné encore une fois dans une lignée bien belge.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing BE RB CREW!) Lightly hazy citrus, off-white. Nose is soap, dusty chemical, watery, iron, metallic. Taste is soap, dusty chemical, watery, wet dog, dust. Body is watery iron, dusty. Not too good.

Fast klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, getreidig, helle Früchte. Geschmack würzig malzig, Gewürze, hefig, etwas Banane.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth fruity, toasted. Light toasted and mild fruity. Crisp. Toasted and light fruity finish.

Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is spicy yeasts. Taste is flowery, dough, Belgian yeasts. No real flaws here, but needs more character.

Bottle from Belgian Beershop, Leuven. Hazy golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Malty with grainy touch. Citrussy with bitter hoppy finish. Well balanced. Some notes of caramel. Good!

Clear orange beer, huge fizzy aery yellowish head, little stable, bit adhesive, falls down quickly. Aroma: banana, very fruity, some citrus, some yeast, bit sweet, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet and sugary start, quite some banana, yeast, bit of coriander. Aftertaste: spicy touch, banana, yeast, sugary touch, coriander.
