330ml bottle [thanks again, Gunnar!]. Murky, dark amber-ish brown colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Cautious, toasty malty aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin, dried banana, plum, spicy overtones with a vinegar touch, hints of mustard seed. Taste is sweet malty, fruity, tart-ish interludes, hints of raisin, plum, dried banana, spicy hints of mustard seed. Smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate. A bit weird and confusing: The tart-ish touch works well against the maltiness otherwise too heavy and sticky in taste, but is not free of conflict concerning aroma.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av mogen banan, karamell, torkad frukt, russin, muscovadosocker, ljus sirap och jordkällare. Stor maltsötma och kropp, fruktig, väl dold alkohol, fin beska. Undrar vad några års lagring skulle kunna bidra med?

50cl Bottle from Systembolaget i Kalmar. BBE ?/04/15, hard to read. Pours dark brown, thin off-white head. Quite typical dubbel aroma of sweet fruits, caramel, toffee notes. Pleasant. Flavor has sweet banana, raisins, bready notes and caramel. Long sweet finish with banana lingering. Some alcohol warmth also. Good.

Flaska med något år på nacken. Bäst före 2013-03. Kopparfärgad, inget skum, en del jästklumpar. Stiltypisk doft av marsipan, torkad frukt, sötsyrligt vinös. Fin smak med russin, plommon, marsipan, belgisk jäst, viss alkoholvärme, stor sötma och liten syrlighet och mandelskal i eftersmaken. Men lite för tunn och inte så krämig som en bra dubbel kan vara. Helt okej ändå, särskilt i kategorin svenska dubblar.
