Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, wood, straw, and citrusy hops, leading to a dry, alcoholic, and bitter finish.

Shared bottle with 4 other friends. Poured a golden, slightly hazy straw color with a large white head. Aroma was sweet malts, grains, yeast notes. Crisp, clean, alcohol almost entirely hidden. Not really too much of a oak barrel note, but perhaps there was a moderate amount of vanilla that came through so that much was imparted into the brew. This was a really tasty bock.

Sampled on tap. Hazy golden body with a small white head. Aromas are oaky, vanilla, malty (bready, toasty, grainy), and a light spicy hop note. Clean. Flavors are quite bitter, tannic, some spicy hops. Light oak flavors, malty and bready. Finishes a bit on the sweet side. Medium to full bodied. Tannic. Medium bubbles. Fine tasting beer, but not too memorable.
