Vintage 2013. 330mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is quite oxidized, with Belgian yeast and cardboard. Flavour is similar, with oxidation, Belgian yeast, a hint of sweetness, and cardboard. Yeasty and oxidized on the finish. Not too pleasant anymore - thanks fiulijn for another oxidized beer.

33 cl bottle vintage 2011 @ home. Batch #214 11, BBE 08/2016
Aroma has ripe fruits, apricot and alcohol. Foamy palate. Flavour has burning & warming alcohol, ripe fruits, apricot and some yeasty tones. Finishes with some spicy tones and more alcohol. Very Belgian, reminds me of some Bush beers. Alcohol clearly pushes through here but luckily most of it is of warming type.

Reserva 2013. Brunt tåkete med fingerhøyt offwhite skum. Lukter fløtekaramell og blomster. Kompleks med både søtlig karamell og bær, samt noe syrlig bitter smak. God alkoholfylde. Kort.

On tap at the Birre Sotto l'Albero festival in Rome-ITALY (Macche and Bir&Fud). Pours deep golden going amber with a compact white head. Complex nose: spices, aroma of incense. Mouth mirrors the nose with the addiction of some caramel. Great one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bouteille 33cl de Roy’s Beer, Milano. Reserva 2013, 12%, bottle #3912, BB 31/08/2018, lotto# 231/13.

Pours hazy amber with very little in the way of head.Nose shows funky notes suggesting at acidity, a bit of sweet confectionery and some caramel and booze.Similar flavours, slight acidity, lots of confectionery-like sweetness and a fair bit of booze. Some candied fruit.Carbonation seems very low.

2012 bottle, 10% ABV. Hazy amber with a coat of beige head that never quite disappears. Aroma of Seville orange marmalade, coriander, dough, peaches, grappa. Syrupy, low carbonation. Bittersweet citrus flavours - boiled bitter oranges, old lemons, orange zest, , apricots, spices, medicinal herbs. Fairly boozy, but not hot. A bit Italian digestif-like, which - whilst not very surprising - is charming. Good.

Bottle. Nose of caramel, peaches, esters, marmalade, alcohol. Orange-brown with lace. Flavors of pineapple, orange, peach, lovely flavors but still far too alcoholic and not integrated. Very tangy, but mostly hot. Should have waited 5 more years.
