It poured from a bottle beautifully! Big and black with a head that is 5 inches and never ending rocky. It even bubbles all round the spot under the head. Taste is oddly bitter but I thought this was just going to be a yellow beer! My, I can’t quit talking about how good it looks. On the palate its a woody burnt thing. Perhaps a little more bitter than I care for. The head mutes a rather roasty aroma. Even tho it foams all over the place, this stuff is rather flat. Not sure where the juniper thing comes in, perhaps on the odd bitterness?

Black, with a tall, thick, dark brown head. Aroma is powdered chocolate, herbals... Taste is powdery, dry chocolate, with an odd herbal bittering from the juniper....like a licorice, but not quite. Hints of black IPA-ness... Interesting.
