Warning, Tempest incoming! Blonde with an innocent allure, round and sweet on the palate. Its strength, however, indicates a strong beer, grading to 8% alcohol by volume. This explains its name of “triple”, that is to say of a strong and round blonde. Well built, the Tempête (The Storm) will perfectly complement a brewery dish, such as sauerkraut or fondue, or a good cheese.

Bottled 330ml. -from Coop Conthey Bassin (Sion). Hazy golden coloured, medium sized white head, yeasty, mild spicy a whiff of alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, spicy, light alcohol and sweetish finish. Rather ordinary tripel.

0,5 boks fra Einars importkoffert, delt med ham og Daglig Leder: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Lett krydret, fruktig anslag med noe honning, urter og hint av granbar. Kryddersmaken fra belgisk gjær henger igjen i avslutningen. Daglig Leder var ikke særlig fornøyd, vi var vel litt mer positive.

As usual, it is a solid tripel, tasty, malty, really sweet, sugar, some hop, beautifuk yeast through the body, classical one. 09.07.2017, drinking it with Alex, at the marchand de Sables, Carouge (GE), hot day and at night this beer was ok.

Fast schon zähflüssig ergiesst es sich ins Glas, in der Nase Likör. Im Mund dann auch sehr melassig und schwer. Die Süsse überlagert Alkohol und Hopfen. Wuchtig.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold, small frothy head. Aroma is Candi sugar, some hop, malt. Medium to big body. Flavour is malty, sweet and rich, slightly hoppy and floral. Herbal. Finish is bittersweet and herbal.

0.33l bottle thanks to Lore. Slightly mirky golden body with a tiny white head and some floating sediment. Aroma of bread, apricot, sugar syrup and some orange zest. Taste of sugar syrup, apricot, cloves and a bit of floral hops. Nice one.

(Keg at Au Coin Mousse, 20190914) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, honey, Belgian style yeast and paper. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, honey, grass, malts, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, sweet and bitter. A clean but too sweet brew.

opalescent pale yellow colour, moderate sized dense off-white head; aroma of grapeseeds, bread, biscuits, some dried apricot, chardonnay wine, earthy and grainy notes; typical tripel taste with apricot notes; great one!

Heller, süßlich getreidig-alkoholischer Beginn, weiche Herbe. Süffig, der alkoholische Anteil wächst, wenig aber angenehm hopfig. Herb hopfiger, weniger süß-alkoholischer Nachgeschmack. 9/9/8/8/8/8

F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: shiny pale gold, hazy. A: grainy, yeasty, spicy, vaguely fruity, dough. T: malty, bit alcohol, fruity, grainy, grassy, light bitter finish, medium to full body and higher carbonation, nothing really interesting, drinkable, 33cl bottle from Manor in Genève.
