Birra di colore ambrato, con schiuma spessa. Al naso sentori di malto tostato e una gradevole percezione erbacea. In bocca, il buon grado di amaro viene ben bilanciato dall’uso dei malti caramellati che rendono beverina questa birra. Il sorso si chiude in un retrogusto fruttato.

Bottle in Ostuni, Italy, 2nd April 18. Pours a brown colour. Aroma is malty, roasted. Taste is malt, roasted flavours, sweet, some bitterness, not bad.

Bottle from the Garvie dregs-run Pours amber with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel, faint spice. Taste is sweet. Oily texture, sweet finish.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep amber, nose is floral, pine, little soapy, taste is dry, sweet toffee, light fruit.

Craft Pimlico. The Italian/Irish event. Keg. With Jackie and Simon. Hazy deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts bring a touch of bitter toffee. Light peel bitterness. Smooth finish brings more bitter toffee. Not bad.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and oxidized. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. 270315

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are burnt caramel, flowers, fruits, malt and hops. Nice and sweet.
