33cl bottle. Pours a colour somewhere amber and chestnut, a bit hazy with some head which mostly fades quickly. The nose has caramel and a touch of herby hops. The taste has more of this sweet toffee/caramel with still some nice refreshing green notes on the end - maybe into pine and grapefruit this time. The palate is medium to large in structure and texture and the finish is quite clean. Overall, a really good beer!

Bottle from La Cave A Bulles. Cloudy brown beer. Crisp palate, pretty dry. Malty with a hint of caramel. Dry dry finish with a roasty aftertaste. Too dry.

Pours hazy brown-orange with a perfect head on top that has serious staying power. Aroma of nuts, hops, citrus. Taste is a little on the syrupy side but with good caramel notes, hazelnut. Dry finish. It’s okay but needs more refinement.

Deep amber color, nice white head. Lacy and appealing. Slightly earthy malt aroma, some dried fruit, berries, and a touch of caramel. Roasty amber malt flavor. Very malty, with chocolate and cookies, though not overly sweet. Rather dry, with a decent roasted finish and good hops and just a touch of fruit. Lacks malt depth. Not overly unbalanced, buit something is missing. OK, but a little too dry and dull.

33cl bottle from a six-pack of Breton beers at Carrefour.Bottle conditioned; but despite this poured a clear reddish gold colour with a thick off-white head; aroma of burnt treacle and smoke; well-textured with powerful dark malts and caramel and smoke flavours; and a long burnt caramel after-taste. Stunning.

Bottle from Carrefour, Calais. Hazy reddish brown colour with thing beige head. Nice fruity nalt nose, strawberries, cream and yeast. Good in mouth with sweetish strawberries, choc malts and some later sourness. Finiish has tingly dry hop and some herb. Nice beer, I especially liked the strawberry fruit.
