Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Label has it as Bern Stein. Hazy amber. Thin, lasting, white head. Bready and sweet toffee. Taste is dry and fruity. Overall, though, this tastes artificial. Mouth coating saccharine thing going on.

Bottle from the St Albans Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy amber with a rapidly dissipating off white head. Aroma of berries, caramel and hint of spice. Very heavy carbonation. Lager malt flavour with hints of orange peal and sherbet. Finish was soft fruit, grass and toffee.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Dusty, fusty, yeasty aroma, cautious malty background. Taste is minimally sweet malty, grassy hoppy overtones, minimally soapy, prickling carbonation.
