A beer that dates back to the eighteenth century, when it was created by brewers in Burton-on-Trent (UK). And its Victorian origins are apparent from the very first encounter. Let yourself be seduced first by the beer’s colour and elegance, then by the fruity aroma of the finest top-fermenting yeasts. Full-bodied yet delicate, it expresses its well-rounded richness in a dance of flavour.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber coloured, slightly hazy ale without much of a head. Quite sweet with an extremely discreet bitterness. On the other hand it has all the wonderful fruity ale-esters. Very nice, but it doesn’t remind me much of the typical British Pale Ale. 250104

Golden color. Ordinary. The taste is not bad, a bit sweet, more equilibrated at the end. Normal.

A golden beer with a small fast disappearing head. It has a pretty sweet aroma. The flavor is slightly sweet of an OK maltblend, but nothing special - too little bitterness.

Bottled. Pale amber. Flowery hop aroma. Sweet and malty with notes of sugar and hay. Rather low bitterness. Rounded and well balanced.
