28/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear tawny brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, malt, berry, burnt sugar. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily watery texture, soft carbonation. Sweet malty finish. Not bad.

Cask: Poured a burnt orange with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, light fruit. Taste is light bitter, malty.

500ml bottle from local Sainsbury's. Pour clear amber with an off white head. Aroma: malty, biscuit, toffee. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, caramel & toffee malts, earthy, hedgerow fruits. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Fine if dull

Cask at GBBF '19, day one, 06/08/19. Golden amber with a well presented off white cap. Nose is dusty fruits, brown bread, grass, light herb. Taste comprises biscuit, fruit slice, grass, light spice, crackers, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough bitter.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Fortescue Hotel, Plymouth on 2nd Nov 2019. Decent clean looking amber pour, beige topping. Light malty nose and flavour, balanced by some bittering hop action. Easy drinking Bitter that isn't going to excite or bore your senses.

Fra fat på Union Rooms, Plymouth 23 Sep 16. Varm gyldenbrun. Lavt luftig skum. Lett plommearoma. Smaken aprikos. Litt tørr etter hvert. Sånn passe.

Half, cask at Union Rooms. Creamy, beige head blanketing the glass. Near clear amber body. Toffee and dough on the nose. Mid-sweet malty flavours, hints of bread, caramel and dough. More sweet than bitter to the finish. Smooth in the mouth. Easy going. (Plymouth 23.09.2016).
