A strong smooth and dry premium blonde beer. Fistral is light in colour, brewed using lager malt and quite a large proportion of wheat malt, giving it a clear crisp character. The late addition of Hallertauer Mittlefruh hops gives the herbal aroma, combining well with the citrus of First Gold.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - definitely very lively. Golden when it settles. Nose - cheesy and a touch of honey. Sulphur. Taste - more cheesy malt on top of stale malt. Palate - light to medium bodied and cloying. Overall - not good at all. Suspect better on cask and this can’t be what the brewer intended.

Bottle 500ml (AbM)
Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Light lemon, yeast and grainy paper in the nose. Light to medium bodied. Lots of similar grainy flavors like in many organic beers. And yes, this seems to be the organic beer! Lime, grass, almost ginger like hop spiceyness. Restless. I am not big fan of organic beer flavors.
