Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of bananas, caramel, wheat, and some banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, caramel, wheat, and bananas, leading to a dry metallic, and wheaty finish.

Bottle. A lighlty unclear one, dark amber in color and with a dense, creamy off-white head of moderate size. Caramel, some roasted hints, banana and a touch of cloves in the aroma. Medium body, smooth carbonation. The flavor has a touch of dried fruits, with caramel, banana and a touch of spicyness. A quite decent one, although not a favorite of mine. 120217

Test vom 12.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,7,7,12,7 - 7,20

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Hazy amber, rather quichly diminishing tanned head, wheaty-yeasty and dark-malty nose; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; hints of chocolate in the first sweet-malty, later fruity and tart finish. O.K., yawn.......

(bottle) Cloudy, murky amber colour with a big, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and yeasty, slightly toasted malt aroma with a light wheat-character and moderate fruity (raisins) notes. Light-sweet and minimal acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly toasted and yeasty wheat-malty taste with a pleasant fruity note of red berries and raisins; sweet and slightly sour, moderately wheaty and fruity finish with light phenolic spice.
