Can from Independent Food & Drink, Seahouses. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of treacle, wood, brown bread and liquorice. Flavour of biscuit and dark chocolate. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is somehow bolder and richer than their double stout.

Can picked up at the brewery. Clear cola brown. Slim messy sticky beige foam. Nose has ashy malts. Light coffee. Cocoa powder. Some dried fruit. Taste has traces of oaty sweetness. Gets dry and ashy. Light body verges on thin. Dry thin bitter finish.
