Bottle, from trade with fonefan. It pours a small, beige head over a clear, brown body. The aroma is malty and with dried fruits, some dms. Quite sweet on the palate, roasted and caramel-ish. Some nuts and dried fruits. Full body, a bit flat on the palate. Some bitterness chimes in towards the end, but it’s mostly roasted and caramel-ish. Some warmth going on all the way, but not in an unpleasant way. Overall, rather boring, and also a bit unpleasant, I know several doppelbocks I’d rather have. 120405
