Bottled. Ruby colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head, which leaves some lace. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, caramel and some mild ripe fruity tones. Flavour is berries, some liquorice, roasted malts, caramel and mild toasted tones. Very tasty!

Opaque black beer, thick tan head. Mild dark malt nose. Semi dry palate. Minerally dark malt, no bitterness or roast. Dry bubblegum ester, banana as well. Semi dry finish. Okay, bit too much ester.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting - Ulfborg ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, tobacco. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120218]

Bottle, 6.5%. Mildly sweet aroma, some brown sugar and a hint of Belgian yeast. Very dark brown colour, seems cloudy. The flavour is a little roasted, but not much. Quite spicy, good cookie spices, not too bad when not too sweet.
