Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. A few floaters. Film of white. Nose is decidedly vegetal. I picked some gooseberries today, and the really overripe ones that were no good smelled a bit like this. Some cheesy funk. A little woody. Taste is ok. Light, fruity sourness. A tad drying. Light body. Soft fizz. Cheesy and fruity sour to finish. Weird aroma, but overall pretty drinkable. Not up to par with the other Ashover stuff I’ve had lately, though.
