Gift from my parents. From bottle on board Fridtjofen 29.12.19. Clear amber copper. Foamy and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of dried berries, sweet malt, syrup and noble hops. Good, but perhaps a bit on the sweet side!

500 ml bottle, as Skagen Tuxen Classic, from Holtes Vinlager, Skagen. ABV is 5.3%. Pasteurised, but not filtered. Brownish amber colour, large off-white head. Aroma of caramel and brown bread. Moderately sweet flavour of caramel, hints of brown bread and a little fruit. Very moderate hops. Quite drinkable.

Flaske fra Dagligbrugsen Sæby, på ferie der: klar, mørk kobber gylden med ok skum. Dejlig aroma og smag af karamel, urter og blomster. Fin fylde og god, floral bitterhed i en solid maltkrop. En virkelig god classic.

Tasted blind. Hazy red amber with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with biscuit and bread and a touch of red berries. Sweet malty flavour of raw malt and rye bread. Sharp bitterness and a thin aftertaste. A bit like a bad doppelbock

Bottle shared by my dad who brought this from holiday in Denmark. Clear amber color, small lightly beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, lightly leaves, slightly bitter. Average body and carbonation.

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
