Looks like coca cola. A quick vanishing bubbly head. Not even a layer after a few seconds. Mehhh…. Ok stout feeling in the aroma. Soft carbonation level. To soft actually. It made this one feel a bit (very) thin. Felt like a cold coffee in the flavor. Also some vegetables and some roast. Not to good this one.

Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal feb-17: brunsvart med ok skum. Uklar aroma av lakris, svisker, mørk sirup og dansk rugbrød. Ufrisk og forglemmelig. Virket faktisk uferdig. Kanskje den kan passe til ris-alamande.

Bottle. A clear, reddish dark brown beer with a finger-thick beige head. Butterscotch, some dark dried fruits and a hint of licorice in the aroma. The flavor too is riddled with butterscotch, and there’s also dried fruits, hints of licorice and a faint bitterness. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. Some bitterness in the mostly malty finish. Overall, way too much butterscotch, making it a pretty uninteresting beer. 130508
