Found in a supermarket in Istanbul. Pours a clear, golden color, topped with a small white head and weak retention. The aroma is very skunky, unpleasantly, and malty. The taste is light, very watery, no real bitterness. Not the best beet really.

Free beer at the Millennium lounge at Ataturk airport, Istanbul. Bottle. Pale clear yellow color, small fluffy white head. Aroma of feet and wet cardboard. Taste is medicinal metal. Without a doubt, one of the ten best Turkish beers I have ever had.

50cl can at hotel room, Side, Turkey. BBE 04/13. Pale golden, creamy, fluffy white head. Aroma has cooked rice and cardboard. Flavor is very weak, some cooked rice, no bitterness. Can’t find any reason for drinking this again.

Bottle at Pat’s Birthday Tasting at ChrisO’s, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, white foam head. Cereal. Weak and lightly sweet. Fairly bland. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild sweet finish with slightly dry cereal malts. It’s not offensive, and as far as pale lagers go, I’d rather have it weak and bland versus sugary sweet and unbalanced. Decent.

ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Clear pale gold beer. Insipid papery dry malt, utterly insipid hop. Dry finish - rubbish!
