Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Murky amber pour, looked not unlike dehydrated piss, oh yum, with a restrained off white head. Fragrant aroma of resinous hop and juicy citrus. Bags of fruit present in the flavour too, alongside some more gentle hop bitterness than perhaps anticipated. A quite charming and as ever wholly drinkable pale ale from London’s finest.

Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours cloudy orange, with a thin white head. The nose is pine, hay and orange citrus fruits. The taste is orange, mango, zingy lemon, grapefruit pith, kumquat, earth, pine and some resin, with a long dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Light, fruity and damn tasty.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white foam head. Gorgeous aroma of grass, pee, pine, wood, pineapple. Flavor is awesome. Sweet and lightly bready, with tangy grass, dry pine and grass, mild zesty citrus. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation and a satin-like mouthfeel. Semi-dry finish, some toasty pale malts, wood, sun-burnt grass, citrus pith, some bittersweet grapefruit. Super stuff here.
