Keg at Craft Bar, Pitmedden. It pours a rather unattractive muddy golden - brown with a teeny white head. The aroma is intoxicating hit of sherried whisky, dried fruits, berry, jammy, fortified wine, whisky soaked oak, Bakewell tart, sappy, touch of resin, permanent market pen, and booze. The taste is slick, oily, unctuous, woody, sappy, resinous, intoxicating sherried whisky character, red berry, cherry, plum, twist of citrus, hit of umami, liquorice allsorts, warming booze, some tannin, chewy, toothy and kinda nutty with a drying, tannic finish. Medium+ body and light carbonation. Not a looker, but rather interesting stuff.
