Mahseer IPA is now brewed at a higher strength of 5.8% abv India Pale Ale as it was always intended to be strong bitter and very hoppy! Named after the legendary Golden Mahseer, which is the most highly prized fish a freshwater angler can catch.

Gylden. Luftig filmskum. Lett sitrusaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Litt sitronskall. Tørket frukt. Behagelig. Forsiktig tørr bitter avslutning.

On cask at the White Cross, Lancaster. Appearance - golden amber with a nice thin head. Nose - apples and brown bread. Taste - more green apples and bread. Palate - light to medium bodied with dry astringent green apple thing. Overall - is this off?

Pours a clear orange amber colour with a small off white head. A grainy malt aroma, some herb and floral hop notes. Quite a sweet malty taste, some citrus and herbal bitterness in a lingering finish.

Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. A bit unbalanced sweetness. Herbal, malty and some citric notes. A quite decent bitter.

Cask at the Caley Picture House. 5.8% Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of floral hops and citrus. Taste is bitter, good malt backbone. Cooked lemon peel on the finish.

Half pint, cask at Ivory Peg (JDW). A dark golden body. Low white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Herbal hops on the nose, hints of citrus. Flavoured with juicy malts and citrus. Rounded fruity bitter end. Drinks well. Pleasant (Chelmsford 17.02.2017).

Cask @ The Reindeer, Norwich. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, flowers, hops and malt. Nice bitter finish.

On tap at the Felix Holt, Nuneaton. Golden to Amber colour with a thick white head. Aroma is citrus orange and grapefruit grainy malt, light pine and flowery. Taste is light sweet to big bitter with a long bitter finish. Medium body.
